
Formed in November 2006, Terra Resort Group boasts a highly credentialed pedigree of operational and business talent led by company President Jamie Yarrow. With his 18 years of experience with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Jamie inspired several industry veterans to join the Terra Resort Group team, lending an innate understanding of intuitive service, seamless operations, and business strategy. Jamie works in partnership with Rob DesLauriers, Chairman of Terra Resort Group and the developer of Hotel Terra and Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa.
Terra Resort Group also offers services for developers and owners that include: asset management, development and operational consulting services,renovation management, and an expertise in the condominium hotel model that covers, HOA structure, real estate sales, operations and association documentation.

As President and a managing partner, Jamie oversees all aspects of Terra Resort Group’s operation and growth strategies. Jamie has focused on the unprecedented blending of the luxury travel experience with environmentally sustainable operations, resulting in financial sustainability for the company, its employees, and development partners. Through combining successful mainstays of luxury operations with innovation and creative solutions, Jamie has led the properties to consistent success.
Prior to leading the Terra Resort Group collection, Jamie enjoyed a career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts that spanned two decades, most recently as the General Manager of Four Seasons Palm Beach. Jamie has a diverse background in both urban hotels and luxury resorts, having held senior positions at Four Seasons properties in Jackson Hole, Scottsdale, Boston and Santa Barbara.
Along with his experience in opening luxury hotels and resorts, Jamie has dedicated his career to operating financially successful projects focused on detailed guest service and strong employee culture.
As a managing partner and Chairman of Terra Resort Group, Rob oversees development opportunities for Terra Resort Group and maximizing the partnerships with our affiliate companies. Rob brings a wealth of experience in structuring construction, equity, hotel management, architectural and interior design, building programming, and real estate sales to the Terra Resort Group Team.
In addition to this role, Rob is also a founding partner and developer of the AAA Four Diamond Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, which opened in 2002, owner of Teton Village Realty, and the managing partner of Terra Development Group, LLC.
Rob began his hospitality development and management career upon graduation from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University serving as General Manager of Bolton Valley Resort in Vermont. In tandem with his success in hotel management and development, Rob pursued a highly successful professional skiing and ski mountaineering career, skiing for the North Face from 1998-2000, and skiing some of the world’s highest summits, including Mount Everest in 2006.
As Vice President of Finance for Terra Resort Group, Rick is charged with managing the financial operation of Terra Resort Group on both the corporate and property levels and as a Managing Partner with the Terra Resort Group.
Rick brings 26 years in the hospitality industry to his role at Terra Resort Group, 18 with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Travel Administration in 1982, Rick began his career with ITT Sheraton at the Sheraton Center in New York City. After five years with Sheraton, in various positions in operations and finance at the property level, he joined Rosewood Hotel’s corporate office as a financial analyst. In Rick’s 18 year career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts he has lead the finance teams at several diverse locations including Las Colinas, Auckland, Newport Beach, Sedona and Jackson Hole.
In his last assignment with Four Seasons, Rick was the Area Director of Finance in Jackson Hole, with oversight responsibilities for Whistler and Vancouver. His extensive understanding of mountain resort locations includes a firm grasp of seasonal income and staff shifts, and local financial market demands.
As Vice President of Operations for Terra Resort Group, Bruce oversees the day to day operations of the Terra Resort Group properties, directs strategic sales & marketing efforts, and leads all operational divisions. He also serves as General Manager of Hotel Terra, opening the hotel in January 2008.
As a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Bruce draws on over twenty years’ experience in luxury hotel management. Following his progressive career with Hyatt and Fairmont in Chicago, Orlando, and Boston, combined with Meridien, Plaza Athenee, Nikko, and Four Seasons Hotels in New York City, Bruce is an integral element to the continued success of our properties. During his tenure as General Manager of the Snake River Lodge & Spa, a RockResort, in Jackson Hole, Bruce led his staff in earning numerous prestigious honors, including the AAA Four Diamond Award for five consecutive years.
After completing operational stints at the infamous French Laundry and Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole, Ryan turned his expertise to operations and design of Hotel Terra. Ryan worked with the Terra Resort Development team to create the flagship Hotel Terra from inception, largely as Project Engineer managing LEED initiatives and construction costing. Ryan also directed the development of the 30,000 square foot addition to Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, where he managed permitting, architectural design and layout. Recently Ryan completed the schematic design and permitting for the addition to Hotel Terra and now pursues new business and development opportunities. Ryan serves as one of the founding partners for the Terra Resort Group.
Before moving to Jackson Hole in 2001, Shelley was an associate for PKF Consulting in San Francisco, a hospitality real estate consulting firm. In this capacity, Shelley performed over 200 studies including market analyses, economic feasibility studies, land and property appraisals, impact analysis, general financial analysis and general positioning studies. As she conducts due diligence on future and existing projects, Shelley Holland’s seasoned background in hospitality real estate consulting and hotel property management adds success to her position and as a founding partner with Terra Resort Group. Shelley works with our legal team to structure condominium documentation and interfaces with the property management company and hotel operator to establish the rental program.
With a diploma from Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration and experience as manager of Tra Vigne Restaurant in Napa Valley , followed by a position as Property Manager at Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, Ashley brings fresh understanding to the practical needs of a successful luxury property. During her post as property manager, she responded to the needs of the individual owners while ensuring a high quality product and guest experience through managing both support staff and material resources.
Ashley combines her experience with a vision for an environmentally sustainable business model. A founding member of Terra Resort Group, Ashley is driven by a commitment to environmentally sustainable business practices and applies this sense of responsibility to purchasing for the entire portfolio of properties, ensuring that every aspect of operations, product, and vendor relationships for all properties minimizes impact on the natural environment. Ashley recently received her MBA in Sustainable Business from Bainbridge Graduate Institute.
Samantha began her career in New York, working for three years with New York Magazine. Following a 1996 move to Jackson Hole, Sam worked as an account executive and eventually became a partner at Riddell Adveterising & Design, an award-winning firm specializing in national travel and outdoor brands. Sam worked on such accounts as Wyoming Tourism, the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Simms fly fishing apparel,and Yakima car racks. In 1999, Sam co-founded a media and promotional events company, working with leading outdoor industry brands such as Power Bar, CamelBak, Atomic skis, Nike, and the North Face. In December 2003 Sam joined the opening team for Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole. As Director of Public Relations, Sam successfully launched the company’s first mountain resort into the worldwide market.
Creating marketing communications for the Terra Resort Group hotels, she brings years of rich experience in public relations, advertising, design, branding, internet marketing, social media and experiential marketing.
A Brit by birth and a sales strategen by training, Justin Bird brings more than twelve years of hotel and resort sales experience to TRG. With a work history with Hilton, Four Seasons and Ojai Valley Inn and Spa, Justin exceeded his company revenue goals and refined his approach to luxury group sales. As he continues his career at Terra Resort Group, Justin directs sales strategy across our properties. Overseeing new and existing sales relationship opportunities, contract specifics, third party planner, wholesaler, travel agent and sales representative systems and communication in an effort to maximize group and leisure sales opportunities, Justin is an integral part of meeting our revenue goals.
Ryan Zalta’s ten years of experience in the information technology field keeps Terra Resort Group’s properties on the forefront of modern innovation, function and design. Prior to joining our team, Ryan worked with the prestigious Teton Science School in operations and most recently opened the Four Seasons Resort as the Assistant Director of Information Technology. At TRG, Ryan is responsible for all infrastructure and systems at both the corporate and property levels, including communication/collaboration systems, property management systems, point-of-sales systems, back office accounting/financial systems, network security systems and multimedia systems. IT is Ryan’s passion, second only to the field of Zoology in which he holds a B.S.
Kathryn comes to Terra Resort Group with experience in marketing for a local real estate company, tourism marketing with Vertical Media, and production for NBC Olympics broadcast in Torino, Italy. Finishing up her sixth year in Jackson Hole, Kathryn has great understanding of our community and market, as well as a strong grasp of the national and international marketing trends and opportunities as we continue to launch our hotel brands worldwide.
Kathryn oversees all social media efforts for Terra Resort Group, and supports direct-to-consumer marketing, print advertising, and website development as well.
